Many people have
something about themselves or their life that they would like to change. I
became a hypnotherapist with the intention of helping people to free
themselves from issues that restrict their quality of life.
My introduction to
Cognitive Hypnotherapy and NLP came through having treatment for my own
issues. As I realised the effectiveness of the therapy I became fascinated
by the subject. After much reading and research I decided to enrol on a
Hypnotherapy and NLP course. It is through the
Quest Institute
that I received my training. After much reading and research I decided to
enrol on a Hypnotherapy and NLP course.

While completing the
course I passed the
Hypnotherapist Practitioners
Diploma (HPD), a
nationally recognised award for competence in the field of Hypnotherapy. After
gaining my qualifications I applied for and received membership of the
National Council for
Hypnotherapy (NCH).
By becoming a member of the NCH, I automatically signed up to a code of ethics
and discipline governing my work.
The passion I have for
Cognitive Hypnotherapy and NLP originates from the way in which it has helped my
life. My view is that Cognitive Hypnotherapy should not just be seen as an
‘alternative’ means of treatment. Your mind is a powerful life changing force
and Cognitive Hypnotherapy and NLP gives the client a better understanding of
how to get the best out of this amazing tool. Hypnotherapy can help with so
many different areas that its application demands greater awareness and use
among the general public.
